Concrete is a popular construction material made from cement, water, sand, & aggregate (usually a gravel or crushed stone). When laid it hardens over time, forming a durable surface, used in a variety of construction projects; from foundations, footings & roads to buildings and bases.

We supply the following concrete types:

• Standard Concrete: Available in C-15 to C-50 grades (compressive strength in MPa), suitable for foundations, floors, car parks, and more. Comes with a 4-20mm coarse aggregate mix
• Special Mix Concrete: Customizable with a 10mm (4-10mm gravel) mix and Water Reducing Admixtures (WRA) for enhanced workability
• Road Foam Concrete (C): High-compressive strength concrete ideal for road construction

Screed is often used in flooring as bases, poured as a mixture of cement & sand, and spread over a surface to create a smooth, strong & level finish. We offer two options for Screed here at Bestmix; Traditional (Fibre 4:1) Screed and our signature Liquid (‘Bestflow’) Screed.

Yes, we offer two types of screed:

• Traditional Screed: A 4:1 fibre screed with added fibres and retarder, providing a durable finish
• ‘Bestflow’ Screed: Our self-levelling screed with no laitance, ideal for residential and commercial interiors

• Straight Pour: We pour concrete or traditional screed directly to your desired location (not available for ‘Bestflow’ Screed)
• Loose Drop: Bulk delivery of traditional screed, tipped on-site for your use
• Pumping: Suitable for hard-to-reach areas using our Line Pump. Available for Concrete and ‘Bestflow’ Screed

Yes, we provide Out-of-Hours services for non-residential projects, including emergency callouts for urgent needs.

Traditional Screed: 2-4 days before walking; dries 1mm/day.
‘Bestflow’ Screed: Minimum 14 days drying time.
